Six Sigma Green Belt Training Course
Six Sigma Green Belt (8 days + project support and mentoring)
Six Sigma is a very powerful methodology used to solve complex problems with statistical rigour. Our clients have used it to:
- Optimise machine settings, improving quality and reducing waste
- Validate business decision making rules, ensuring consistency across regions
- Monitor and control sub-contractor costs, highlighting issues in a timely manner
- Evaluate potential new software, preventing a costly mis-purchase
As a Six Sigma Green Belt, your projects would aim to save your organisation in the order of £25k – and very likely more.
Course Objectives
This intensive, practical and interactive 8+1 day programme will enable delegates to understand:
- The big picture view of their organisation
- The DMAIC process, in context with the Lean Value Chain

- The difficulty, and the tools, to maintain improvements
It consists of three sets of two- or three-day courses, approximately two weeks apart; followed by a three-month project in the delegate’s organisation. This project is supported by mentoring, including one day on site, and forms part of the overall assessment.
