NVQ Level 2 – Business Improvement (5 non-consecutive days)

Aim:

The NVQ Level 2 in Business Improvement training aims to give delegates the tools and knowledge required to implement group and/or individual improvement projects within their own work environments, and thus gain an NVQ level 2 in Business Improvement.

The training takes place over five months, giving time between training modules to implement the learning.

After each session, an independent assessor reviews the evidence collated on these projects and on a monthly basis accredit the delegates with modules towards the NVQ Level 2 in Business Improvement.  Lighthouse Business Consultants Ltd is able to provide links with NVQ assessors to enable this to happen, but to maintain impartiality does not conduct the assessments themselves.

• Contributing to effective team working

–      Unit 4

• Applying workplace organisational techniques
• Day 3:

–      Unit 5

• Applying continuous improvement techniques

–      Unit 9

• Creating visual management systems
• Day 4:

–      Unit 13

• Applying problem solving techniques

–      Coping with change in the workplace

• Day 5: Presentation prep and practice run

 Who should attend:

Front line staff from manufacturing, service or administrative areas.  An ideal delegate group includes staff from a similar area, to aid with the group improvement project.
