David Cartwright

Dave compliments his academic achievements with practical experience based in the mining, chemical and manufacturing sectors.  He has managed and delivered consultancy projects within Aerospace, Automotive, Steel and other sectors.  Dave specialises in Change Management, Business Strategy, and Business Improvement Techniques, such as Lean.  He is also a qualified Wales Quality Award Assessor.   Dave maintains a high level of workshop delivery and facilitation skills through regular training and delivering training courses.

Achievements & Projects

• Dave is currently acting as client manager and deliverer for a comprehensive Lean rollout project at a global Aerospace Company, helping them move from a score of 1.5 to 3.5 (from 5) on their Corporate Lean Benchmarking system. Phase 2 will achieve a score of 4.
• Dave managed and delivered a series of Best Practice Workshops for MAS-West Midlands and is currently delivering Strategic Change and Consulting Projects for them.
• Dave was a member of the Welsh Assembly Government’s Accelerate Wales Steering Committee and has continued to assist the team as a consultant.
